Connecting to a gold drive either through a USB direct peer-to-peer connection or via Direct TCP/IP connection.

In this tutorial we will learn how to create a connection to a drive through G-MAS which serves as a gateway in the system using an EtherCAT EoE connection type.

In this tutorial we will learn how to create a connection to a SimplIQ drive via direct peer to peer RS232 connection. Also how to increase the baud rate for faster data uploading and downloading to/from the drive
This procedure requires two steps.
1. The first step entails defining by direct USB connection for each drive on the network, its Node ID, baud rate and group ID.
2. The second step is to create the relevant GMAS CANOpen workspace.
