The Hawk is a unique servo drive that combines high power density and intelligence in an ultra compact package, delivering up to 75 Amps continuous current. It operates in extreme environmental conditions.
The Hawk, the newest member of Elmo’s core ExtrIQ servo drives family with characteristics and functionality that are identical to those of all ExtrIQ family members. The Hawk takes Elmo one step further in incorporating high efficiency and ultra-compact power density.

It suits all motion control applications, especially those where servo performance and compactness are important.
The Hawk is a
PCB-mounted servo drive that provides top performance, intelligence and networking capabilities, all within a high level programming environment.

  1. The Hawk is powered by a single DC bus of 11 VDC –195 VDC (three voltage ranges), with built-in smart control to supply back-up capabilities.
  2. The Hawk delivers up to 75 amps of continuous current, and 100 amps of peak current. It is a powerful servo drive that can withstand extended environmental conditions

The Hawk features sinusoidal full vector control as well as trapezoidal and DC motor commutation methods.
The Hawk has an auxiliary feedback port for ECAM, follower, dual loop and pulse-and-direction applications. Digital and analog ports are also available. The Hawk is an ultra-compact, PCB-mounted, high power servo drive that has numerous smart motion capabilities. When combined with its programming flexibility, wide variety of feedbacks and CANopen networking, the Hawk is a compelling solution.
