04.05 05052004 In Halls only systems where DHalls are used for commutation and feedback there is no indication for the Halls. Impact:
In all simplIQ drives Velocity and Position mode cannot be activated in DHall only.

Workaround:
Before tuning the motor set the following:

CA[21]=1
CA[22]=2
YA[4]=4
CA[21]=0

This procedure should be set in an autoexec routine that enable it to run each time the amplifier is turned on.
14.11 14112004 For Current and Velocity applications (UM=1 or UM=2) where the auxiliary port is used as output (YA[4]=4), setting motor enable (MO=1) after power up fails. Impact:
For SimplIQ drives, set up so that the auxiliary encoder port outputs the main encoder input or produces an emulated encoder signal (YA[4]=4), setting motor enable (MO=1) in the Current or Velocity modes causes the loss of communication for few seconds.

Workaround:
Whenever attempting to turn the motor on, or to tune the motor with the wizard, set the following:

YA[4]=2
YA[4]=4

Alternative sequence can be written to a User Program using the AUTOEXEC routine that is executed upon power up.
