Practical Electronics Engineer

About The Position

We are looking for an enthusiastic Practical Electronics Engineer to join our team!

The POD Engineer is responsible for performing hands-on verification tests of newly developed electronic hardware, including electrical, environmental, and mechanical tests, to ensure product reliability and compliance with standards.

  • Perform hands-on verification testing of newly developed electronic hardware (electrical, thermal, environmental, vibration)
  • Define and set up test jigs, cable kits, and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs)
  • Collaborate with hardware design engineers during development and validation phases
  • Approve product readiness based on successful test results
  • Perform basic soldering and wiring for testing purposes
  • Create and maintain clear, well-organized test documentation in English
  • Interpret technical drawings and develop corresponding test plans
  • Support continuous improvement of testing tools and methodologies

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or Practical Engineer diploma in Electronics
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in electronics testing
  • Proficiency with electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, environmental chambers)
  • Experience with test jigs, fixtures, and cable assemblies
  • Basic knowledge of OrCAD or similar schematic software
  • Understanding of Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP)
  • Familiarity with analog and digital electronic components (experience is a significant advantage)
  • Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of testing processes
  • Prior experience in development or quality assurance environments preferred
  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings and maintaining test documentation
  • High-level proficiency in Hebrew and English
  • Proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn and grow professionally
