About The Position

Elmo servo drives technology (A Bosch Company) enables the world’s most advanced robotics, medical devices, semiconductor, and industrial automation equipment.

Elmo is growing and we are looking for a Regional Sales Manager, Southwest Territory to join our team!

·Responsible for growth of sales in region assigned through expansion with existing customers and identification of new potential markets, customers, and opportunities.

·Management of existing projects & customers including OEMs and Value-Added Resellers

·Assist Regional Sales Manager in developing and deploying a territory business plan that details new business opportunities and sustainable growth.

·Maintain, contact and visit regularly existing customers and potential customers.

·CRM Way of Life – Maintain Elmo’s CRM system (Salesforce) and use tools for effective customer & opportunity tracking, and report generation on present and future sales opportunities.

·Increase sales on an annual basis. Targeting 20% YOY growth.

·Utilize Elmo technical staff to assist in satisfying potential and current customer’s application needs.

·Participate in identifying and sharing market trends, future customer needs and defined future company products and solutions – provide information to marketing as requested.

·Become proficient on Elmo products/solutions including features, benefits and technical advantages to present to customers and justify premium status of Elmo products.

·Handling incoming leads for territory.

·Understand needs of customers to create proposals that are strategic and target the specific requirements for that particular customer.

·Produce strategic quotes, follow up on quotes, convert quote to order and follow-up on orders to maintain exceptional customer satisfaction.

·Create a rolling 18-month forecast for assigned accounts that will roll-up into a territory forecast. Identify annual sales target for which you are accountable.

Requirements

·4-Years Degree in Engineering

·Sales experience of 3+ years

·Relevant knowledge in Mechatronics/Electricity/Software/Quality/Environmental Condition

·Background in Motion Control, Machine Control and/or Factory Automation- strongly preferred

·Understanding of servo and automation systems. Working experience in such company – an advantage

·Hunter Mentality, Self-Starter

·Excellent planning skills for efficient performance

·Technical insight and quick thinking

·Good interpersonal relationship skills

·Experience with using CRM consistently (Salesforce an advantage)

·Excellent communication, Negotiation skills

·Proficient use of office S/W (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

·This position requires 50% travel.

This territory includes Southwest Territory: Southern California (San Luis Obispo and South), Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico.
