Gold Mandolin is a high-efficiency, low-cost and durable driver that can be mounted on a PCB board. The driver can output 2300 W continuous power or 4600 W peak power and is intelligent and can be used in compact packaging environments.
Gold Mandolin driver is DC powered and supports current loop, speed loop, position loop and advanced position mode. It can be used with permanent magnet synchronous brushless motor, DC brush motor, linear motor or voice coil motor. Its design is suitable for any type of sine wave and square wave commutation and vector control.
Gold Mandolin can be directly powered by a 100-400V DC power supply. Gold Mandolin only needs to be connected to the main power supply (VP+ and VN-) when running, and does not need to provide logic power. If the customer needs the backup function to store control parameters, then a 18v to 40v DC power supply needs to be provided to access the driver. This design can provide customers with a very flexible backup solution choice.
Gold Mandolin can be used alone or as part of a distributed configuration multi-axis motion system on a real-time network. The drive can be easily set up and tuned using the Elmo Application Studio (EASII) software tool, which is fully programmable through the Elmo motion control language.
