Automatic configuration of CANopen IO devices, advanced mapping

Used In:

  • Any application involving CANopen DS401 IO

The G-MAS fully supports CANopen DS401 IO devices. It can perform actions such as writing digital outputs and reading digital inputs.

A user needs no CANopen knowledge – all that need be done is define the device on the network, and it is ready to be accessed by dedicated APIs.

If desired, a user can manually add PDO mappings for additional data transfer between G-MAS and the device. Because G-MAS supports maximum flexibility for configuring and mapping advanced PDOs, it can be used with any DS401 device.

Design Features

  • Read-and-write from/to IO devices using dedicated APIs
  • User may map additional PDOs for generic data access
  • User may configure initial SDOs to be sent automatically at G-MAS startup
