About The Position

Elmo servo drives technology (A Bosch Company) enables the world’s most advanced robotics, medical devices, semiconductors, and industrial automation equipment.

We're looking for a skilled and driven Hardware Engineer to take part in the design and development of high-performance electronic boards. 

The responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing mixed-signal electronic boards (power, analog, and digital).
  • Creating schematics and PCB layouts using industry-standard tools (OrCAD/Cadence advantage).
  • Writing and maintaining technical documentation (specs, design docs, user manuals).
  • Defining and executing board-level test plans and validation procedures.
  • Supporting system integration, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Leading and participating in design reviews (PDR, CDR).
  • Implementing ECOs and supporting engineering and NPI processes.
  • Selecting and qualifying electronic components.
  • Supporting compliance testing (EMI, safety, environmental).


Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in hardware design, with a focus on power, analog, and digital circuits.
  • Proven expertise in PCB design and layout using CAD tools (OrCAD/Cadence preferred).
  • Strong system-level understanding, including system integration and validation processes.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to drive designs from concept to production.
  • Practical experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, etc.
  • Familiarity with standards and compliance testing (EMI, safety, environmental).
  • Experience with engineering tools and processes (e.g., Agile).
  • High proficiency in both Hebrew and English (written and spoken).
  • Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and takes full ownership of tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Team player with a positive and collaborative attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
