Elmo Motion Control is looking for an NPI Engineer to join their team!
Responsibilities and Activities:
- Lead end-to-end NPI (New Product Introduction) processes from development phase through serial production
- Serve as a key interface between R&D and Production to ensure a smooth and efficient transition
- Review and validate PCB designs with a strong focus on DFM and manufacturability
- Lead and contribute to the creation and maintenance of full engineering documentation packages (BOMs, work instructions, production files)
- Manage component engineering activities, including component selection, alternates, EOL and PCN analysis
- Drive the preparation and release of manufacturing documentation and production files
- Troubleshoot engineering issues on production lines and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Lead engineering improvements focused on cost reduction, cycle time optimization, quality enhancement, and error prevention
- Support subcontractors and external manufacturing partners
- Handle engineering changes (ECOs) and ensure proper implementation in production
- Provide ongoing technical support related to PCB design and manufacturing, including communication with PCB vendors
