Elmo Motion Control (A Bosch Company) enables the world’s most advanced robotics, medical devices, semiconductor equipment, and industrial automation systems.
Elmo is looking for an experienced and driven Sales Director- Europe to lead our regional activities across Germany and Italy and manage key strategic accounts.
- Full ownership of all sales activities and performance across the territory (Germany & Italy)
- Develop, execute, and drive a comprehensive European sales development plan
- Lead, train, coach, and mentor the regional sales team to achieve ambitious targets
- Personally manage a portfolio of strategic key accounts, ensuring long-term growth and strong customer relationships
- Actively engage with customers and prospects through regular meetings and visits across the region
- Drive close collaboration between the German branch and global HQ, ensuring alignment and ongoing business updates
- Work closely with the HQ Marketing team to plan and execute regional activities, including exhibitions, trade shows, and conferences
- Partner with HR on hiring, onboarding, and team development, in line with local labor laws and global policies
- Take full ownership of all incoming sales leads and ensure maximum business potential is achieved
- Build and manage the annual operating budget in coordination with HQ
- Ensure the team is fully equipped with up-to-date tools, product knowledge, and market insights
- Promote and enforce CRM as a daily working tool across the team
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in industrial sales and account management
- At least 3 years of experience in sales management
- Proven experience in motion control / servo / automation sales – strong advantage
- Solid technical knowledge in mechatronics, electronics, control systems, or software
- Strong track record in driving sales growth and achieving targets
- Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and analytical tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Priority ERP – an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal English – full fluency required
- Strong leadership and managerial capabilities
- Strategic, multi-tasking mindset with a hands-on approach
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
