Elmo Motion Control is looking for a Payroll Accountant to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full ownership of the monthly payroll process for approximately 300 employees, from data collection and input through payslip generation.
  • Conducting payroll checks and controls, including attendance, overtime, vacation, sick leave, social benefits, pension contributions, taxation, and employee benefit funds.
  • Handling employee onboarding, terminations, salary updates, employment terms, and changes throughout the employment lifecycle.
  • Managing ongoing reports to authorities and institutional bodies and performing the required reconciliations.
  • Providing professional support to employees and managers on payroll, employee benefits, and employment terms.
  • Working closely with HR, Accounting, managers, insurance companies, pension funds, and other external providers.
  • Monitoring changes in legislation and updates related to labor law, payroll, and taxation, and implementing them within the payroll process.
  • Maintaining a high level of accuracy, discretion, and confidentiality when handling employee and payroll data.


Requirements

  • Certified Payroll Accountant certification – mandatory.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Payroll Accountant role – mandatory.
  • Proven experience independently managing the full payroll function as the sole payroll professional in a medium-to-large organization – mandatory.
  • Proven experience processing payroll for 300+ employees – mandatory.
  • Experience working closely with HR, Accounting, authorities, and institutional bodies.
  • Experience handling payroll matters, employee benefits, social contributions, employee terminations, and onboarding.
  • Experience working with Hargal and attendance management systems – a significant advantage.
  • Academic background in Accounting, Economics, or a related field – an advantage.
  • Professional training and ongoing updates in labor law, payroll, and taxation – an advantage.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel – mandatory.
  • Hebrew: High level | English: Good
  • Responsibility, reliability, and discretion.
  • Attention to detail, organization, and thoroughness.
  • Independence and ability to work under pressure.
