We are looking for a Procurement Buyer to join our Procurement team and support our global supply chain and manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage raw material purchasing requirements for the production floor based on MRP recommendations.
- Collaborate with suppliers in Israel and internationally.
- Issue purchase orders and manage order confirmations, reschedules, and expedites.
- Participate in negotiations with internal stakeholders, including R&D, Marketing, Operations, and Production.
- Maintain and update procurement data, including lead times (LT), preferred suppliers, and forecast adjustments.
- Update and maintain supplier price lists.
- Handle supplier non-conformance reports until replacement or credit is received.
- Manage ECOs (Engineering Change Orders) and analyze their impact on procurement.
- Resolve supplier invoices that do not match purchase orders.
- Coordinate air and sea shipments for imported goods, focusing on cost-effective and efficient freight forwarding.
- Monitor shortage reports and align supply plans with the production planning team for the next two months.
