Elmo’s G-MAS Multi-Axis Motion tool is among the leading tools available today for creating complex motion control tasks.

The G-MAS Multi-Axis Motion is built in to the Elmo Application Studio (EAS) and enables many types of motion, with many different types of kinematics and transformations. The G-MAS supports 16 independent groups of axes, with each group containing up to 16 single axes. Defining and using a group of axes ensures 100 percent synchronization between all axes in the group.

  • The G-MAS supports the following types of motion:
    • Linear segment
    • Circular segment
    • Polynomial segment
    • Spline interpolation of pre-defined position table
    • PVT (Position, Velocity, Time) table

The G-MAS supports the following types of kinematics:

  • Cartesian kinematic
  • Delta robot kinematic
  • User-defined mechanics
  • The G-MAS supports the following types of transformations:
    • Linear transformation for each axis
  • Cartesian Frame transformation, rotation and displacement
