Platinum Bee
Platinum Bee is an advanced, high power density servo drive which provides top performance, advanced networking and built-in safety, as well as a fully featured motion controller and local intelligence.
Bee is part of the innovative Platinum line of products, designed specifically for harsh environments. Elmo’s industry-leading Platinum line of servo drives provides faster and more enhanced servo performance with wider bandwidth, higher resolution, and advanced control for better results.
The Platinum Bee delivers up to 5.6 kW power in a compact package (35 x 30 x 15.6 mm or 1.38″ x 1.18″ x 0.6″) and is ideally suited for extreme environmental conditions, including shocks, vibrations, humidity, and pressure. It features significantly enhanced servo performance, higher EtherCAT networking precision, much richer servo operation capabilities, more feedback options plus SIL functionalities together with certified smart Functional Safety.
Composer2®
COMPOSER2® tool allows SIL (Software in the Loop) execution at the servo drive level. Together with EASII, Elmo’s proprietary drive tuning and configuration tool, it allows the engineers to take motion control of their systems into their own hands.
Composer2®, Elmo’s free-to-use tool, enables motion control engineers to design their own algorithms, making it accessible, fast and easy-to-use. Implemented directly on Elmo’s Platinum servo drives and controllers, Composer2® works in MathWorks Simulink® and is designed to run the algorithms in the real time environment.

The Platinum-Lion (P-Lion), Elmo’s ExtrIQ version of the Platinum-Maestro is the world’s most advanced and ruggedized multi axis network motion controller, suitable for operation in any environment.
