Guandgdong, China – Jan. 12, 2019 – Elmo Motion Control (Elmo), a leading provider of advanced motion control solutions was awarded “The Most Technical Innovation Product Award” by the China Motion Control Industry Alliance. The CMCD award was given to Elmo’s ultra-high power Double Gold Twitter servo drive during an annual ceremony of the motion-control industry in China.

Double Gold Twitter is an ultra-high-power servo drive with a small footprint, high precision, high power industrial applications. Double Gold Twitter delivers over 10,000w qualitative power (up to 160A), driving large selection of motors and feedbacks, while supporting dual loops, EtherCAT communication, and STO (SIL-3). It is suited for robotic applications, AGVs, antennas and tracking systems, and more. Its miniature size allows the drive to be placed on a moving load, atop or inside a motor, helping engineers save space, improve machine performance, reduce cables and eliminate electrical cabinets, while delivering unprecedented power.

China Motion Control Industry Alliance is a nonprofit organization, considered to be the most influential organization within the Chinese motion-control Industry. In 2017 the organization also awarded Elmo with “The Most Customer Satisfied Brand”. Elmo’s Gold Twitter family of servo drives has been receiving awards globally over the past few year, including the UK’s prestigious MCI award for Technical Innovation of the Year.
