Shanghai, September 22, 2020 – Elmo Motion Control, a leading provider of advanced motion control solutions, Editor’s Recommendation Award from Control Engineering China for its new Platinum servo drive line. The award ceremony took place on September 16th at the Global Automation & Manufacturing Summit (GAMS2020) in Shanghai, China.
Elmo’s industry-leading Platinum line demonstrated that it can provide significantly enhanced servo drive performance and better results with wider bandwidth, higher resolution, and advanced control. Platinum drives offer precise EtherCAT networking, faster cycling, superior synchronization, negligible jitters, and near-zero latency. They are fully synchronized with the servo drive loops and include feature-rich feedback support—up to three parallel feedbacks with two absolute encoders working simultaneously. The Platinum line also includes one of the world’s smallest Functional Safety and FSoE-certified servo drives with unique SIL capabilities.
